Connor Hickman is a versatile and driven lacrosse coach whose playing experience spans multiple positions and levels of competition. A graduate of Fox High School, Connor began his career playing a variety of roles before specializing as a faceoff specialist. His dedication paid off during his junior year, when he achieved an impressive 81% faceoff win rate—ranking first in the state. Outside of the high school season, he competed year-round with Samurai, further sharpening his skills against top competition.

Connor continued his career at Missouri Baptist University, where he played all four years at the collegiate level. While he began as a faceoff specialist, his adaptability and team-first mindset led him to contribute across the field, gaining experience at attack, two-way midfield, close defense, and long-stick midfield (LSM). His leadership and work ethic earned him the role of team captain for two seasons.

During his time at MBU, Connor received numerous accolades, including being a 3x NAIA Scholar Athlete (2022–2024), a 2x NAIA Champion of Character recipient (2023–2024), and earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors at both defense and LSM in 2024.

Following his collegiate career, Connor has continued competing at a high level with the Missouri Mastodons, maintaining his passion for the game while mentoring the next generation of players.

As a coach, Connor emphasizes effort, consistency, and accountability. He lives by the philosophy, “Anything you do, give it 100% effort, and the rest will take care of itself,” instilling a mindset of discipline and resilience in his athletes.

He is also an avid viewer of the Premier Lacrosse League  where he cheers on his favorite team, The California Redwoods. ROLL WOODS!!!
