Why Play Box Lacrosse?

Box lacrosse is the single best way to develop your field game in the offseason. It will drastically improve your stick skills, your lacrosse IQ, body positioning, body control, and decision making under pressure. Because the game is played inside a “box” all players receive exponentially more reps during practice! No out of bounds and a 30 second shot clock forces dramatically faster play that will translate to on field success in the spring!
About our Box Program
Players are NOT required to have Box experience, our experienced staff will teach and give you all you need to know to compete at a high level in the Box.
- All of our coaches have Semi-Professional Box Playing experience
- All of our coaches have multiple years of Box Coaching experience
- We are the ONLY lacrosse Club in Missouri that is officially USBOXLA Sanctioned
2022 Winter Box Tryouts
- Thursday and Friday November 10th & 11th
- At Midwest Sports Hockey @ Queeny Park
- Cost - $30
- Tryout Time Slots:
- 5:00pm - 6:15pm - Players with High School Grad Years 2029-2030
- 6:15pm -7:30pm - Players with High School Grad Years 2027-2028
- 7:30pm - 8:45pm - Players with High School Grad Years 2026-2025
- 8:45pm - 10:00pm - Players with High School Grad Years 2023-2024

Training:
- 8 Weeks of Box Training starting December 5th, 2022
- Saturdays at Midwest Sports Hockey in Queeny Park
- Monday evenings at Vetta Sports Manchester
Tournaments:
- Players will also attend 2 Tournaments:
- *All players are responsible for their travel and lodging
- *Costs Include: tournament fee, custom tournament box jersey, snacks and drinks, coaches travel and stipends, etc.
- Derby City Box Invitational - Louisville, KY - December 17-19, 2022*
- *This is a CHANGE to originally advertised tournaments!
- The Goodland Invitational - Milwaukee, WI - January 28-29, 2023
