Boys Spring Teams Evaluation Day

  • 2025 Boys Spring 10U Tryouts - For Boys in 3rd & 4th Grade 
    • During this event players will be evaluated and placed accordingly on one of our Spring Select or Recreational Teams
      • Saturday February 8th - 1:30pm-3:30pm
  • 2025 Boys 8U Spring Teams
    • Are "Open Enrollment" and do not need to attend this event and can enroll NOW!
    • REGISTRATION COMING SOON!
  • Are You Looking for 12U (5th/6th Grade) and/or 14U (7th/8th) Boys Spring Select Teams? 
    • We are NOT entering 12U or 14U Spring SLYLA Teams, we want to support St. Louis area school teams during the Spring season - We encourage all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders to play with their school teams!
    • All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Graders must attend our 2025 Summer Team 2 Day Tryouts February 8th & 9th 
      • All players that are selected to the 2029, 2030, 2031, and 2032 Summer Select Teams will be enrolled in our Elite Spring Training program 

Boys Spring Teams Info

Boys 8U Spring Teams are "Open Enrollment" and do not need to attend the Player Eval Day and can enroll NOW!

All 8U Players should have some previous lacrosse experience, contact andyjoly@samurailax.com with any questions

  • Practices:
    • 1 Practices a week for 8 weeks (Tuesdays) in our proven developmental programming executed by our award winning tenured staff!
      • First Practice - Week of March 24th, 2025
      • Last Practice - Week of May 12th, 2025
      • Practices will be Tuesdays
    • Practices will be held at Sportport International (12525 Sport Prt Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043)
  • Games:
    • Players will also compete in weekly local league games in the St. Louis Youth Lacrosse Association (SLYLA) on Saturdays
      • First SLYLA Game Weekend - March 29
      • Last SLYLA Game Weekend - May 17
      • No Games Easter Weekend - April 19-20
    • Games will be hosted at Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (17925 North Outer 40 Road
      Chesterfield, MO 63005)

Samurai will NOT enroll a 12U team into the Spring SLYLA league this year, or going forward, we want to encourage all 5th and 6th graders to play for their school teams!
 
Instead we are asking all 2031s and 2032s to tryout for our Summer Travel Teams February 8-9
 
The 2031 and 2032 Boys Summer Travel teams will be automatically enrolled in our Elite Spring Training Program, training once a week for 6-8 weeks and potentially taking a trip to an out of town tournament in late April or early May to help these teams prepare for the Summer 2025 Tournament Circuit.
  • Players that want to join these teams must attend our Summer 2 Day Tryouts February 8 & 9 @ Creve Couer Park.
