BIOgraphy

Justin Kucharski brings a wealth of playing experience and a proven track record of defensive leadership to his coaching career. A four-year collegiate player at Missouri Baptist University (NAIA) from 2012 to 2016, Kucharski developed into one of the program’s most accomplished long-stick midfielders. During his time at MBU, he earned All-Conference honors all four years (Honorable Mention, 3rd Team, 2nd Team, and 1st Team), was a two-time Academic All-American, a two-time All-American, and served as a team captain.

Kucharski began his lacrosse journey at Fox C-6 High School before continuing his career at Missouri Baptist, where he remained for all four years and established himself as a leader on and off the field.

Following his playing career, Kucharski transitioned seamlessly into coaching, accumulating over a decade of experience at the high school level. He began as a Varsity Assistant Coach (Defense) at Fox High School from 2014 to 2016, then continued as a Varsity Assistant Coach (Defense) at St. Mary’s High School from 2016 to 2019. He took over the same role at Seckman High School from 2020 to 2024. Most recently, he served as Head Coach at Seckman High School from 2024 to 2025. His impact was recognized statewide when he was named Missouri Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022.

Known for his defensive expertise and leadership, Kucharski builds his coaching philosophy around the belief that “Talent sets the floor, character sets the ceiling,” a principle he uses to develop disciplined, high-character athletes.

Outside of coaching, he is a passionate supporter of Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse and the St. Louis Blues.
