A dedicated and experienced defensive specialist, Coach Hildebrand brings a strong background in both playing and coaching to the field. He played four years as a defenseman at CBC before continuing his career at Missouri Baptist University, where he competed for two additional years.

With over eight years of coaching experience, Coach Hildebrand has made a significant impact at multiple levels of the game. He has spent the majority of his time coaching with Samurai, helping develop athletes’ fundamentals and competitive mindset. His high school coaching roles include serving as Defensive Coordinator for Kirkwood’s varsity team in 2020 and Vianney’s JV team in 2022. He has also worked with younger athletes at Clayton Middle School, coaching both 6th and 7th grade teams, and contributed to player development programs through Vetta Sports Learn to Play and ILAX.

Known for his emphasis on discipline, effort, and internal drive, one of Coach Hildebrands favorite coaching quotes is, “The best motivation always comes from within,” this quote reflects his approach to building confident, self-driven athletes.

Drew is a passionate supporter of the St. Louis Blues, and loves being a handyman around the house.
